    Unlike other emails, the Low Stock email in WooCommerce does not have configuration options to change the content, the subject, or the recipient.

    This might be fine, but as you try to optimize your workflow and make it more efficient, you might want to have more information straight in the subject of the email to quickly know what product is low on stock without having to read the email.

    Remove the Results Count on Shop Pages

    Did you notice that WooCommerce shows the products results count on each shop page? It shows exactly how many products you have in the catalog, and how many are shown on that particular page.

    If you didn’t, go to your Shop page, or any shop category/tag page and look at the top left, you will find it there. It some cases, it might have been moved somewhere else by the theme.

    I’ve recently watched The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix and that has awoken in me the will to play some more chess again as an adult and learn more about it, and be fascinated by this beautiful game again. I have always liked chess since I was a child. I can remember spending time playing it with my cousin at home. It was such a hard game back then, I could barely understand the moves.

    So I started looking for chess sets that I could purchase online and I stumbled upon a website from UK which had most of their sets, boards, and pieces, sold out. The Out of Stock string read “Out of Stock because of The Queen’s Gambit”.

    At first, I found that funny. I then explored further the website to find out that some products were priced over 1000 GBP and still out of stock because of the TV show. I find it quite hard to believe that someone who watched the show decided to spend over 1000 GBP for a chess board or some pieces. This gave me the idea to write this article.

    You might have noticed that the URLs in your site all come with a string at the end of it looking something like ?v=3j123445. What is it and where does it come from?

    If your site uses WooCommerce, that is where it comes from and it is not dangerous at all, it is actually helpful!
