  • Ban Russia From the Checkout in WooCommerce

    The Russian invasion of Ukraine of February 2022 is currently affecting everyone in the world, most of all Ukrainian people, of course.

    As individuals, there’s not much that we can do other than donating to the cause and helping those in need.

    If you are a shop owner currently selling to Russia and want to align with the sanctions of NATO and all the other countries, in your small reality, you can ban Russia from your WooCommerce store.

  • How to Confirm the Email Address on Checkout

    How many times did you want to get in touch with your customer after they purchased but their email address was wrong, or they contacted you to change it since they had a typo? I feel this is a common issue with many shop owners. The easy solution is to force customers to confirm the email address on the Checkout page.

  • How to Change the Low Stock Email Subject

    Unlike other emails, the Low Stock email in WooCommerce does not have configuration options to change the content, the subject, or the recipient.

    This might be fine, but as you try to optimize your workflow and make it more efficient, you might want to have more information straight in the subject of the email to quickly know what product is low on stock without having to read the email.

  • Remove the Results Count on Shop Pages

    Did you notice that WooCommerce shows the products results count on each shop page? It shows exactly how many products you have in the catalog, and how many are shown on that particular page.

    If you didn’t, go to your Shop page, or any shop category/tag page and look at the top left, you will find it there. It some cases, it might have been moved somewhere else by the theme.
